This gorgeous chocolate thing was served for fika during a recent office retreat. "Fika" is a Swedish institution similar to "tea time" in Great Britain.

I've always thought of Easter candy as something of a kid's thing even though my Mom continued to give my sibs and I chocolate bunnies well into adulthood. Evidently not so in Sweden. This week my company has been inundated with candy from clients. We're talking about huge cardboard/paper maché eggs filled with chocolate and licorice and all manner of other treats. At one point there were no fewer than six of them at the front desk...so we lined them up this afternoon and took a picture.

This looked almost too good to eat. (But I ate it anyway!)
